Dutch trombonist Ilja Reijngoud has quickly established himself as one of Europe's (and perhaps the world's) leading jazz trombonists. Reijngoud plays very creative, modern, harmonically advanced, and groovin' solos. He really gets around the horn and displays incredible technique. His last CD is definitely worth your attention. You should get this recording and any other recordings of Reijngoud that you can find. His playing is truly inspirational.
